Integrity: a part of Byron Reed Company's DNA
A letter we received from a thoughtful Omaha resident:
March 20, 2011
Byron Reed Company
13306 A St.
Omaha, NE 68144
To whom it may concern:
I have attached a letter from Linn Campbell the company President in 1947. I was going through some of personal effects with my Mother and the letter which was written to my Father. Apparently my Dad had some trouble with a house he bought through one of your brokers.
I thought you might be interested in seeing the letter because to me it represents the way businesses should be run. It also tells me why your company is still in business after all this time. I was especially impressed by the last sentence where Mr. Campbell said he was "... very, very sorry..." That kind of sincerity goes a long way.
I hope you found the letter interesting. Again, to me, it says why your company is still in business, you are continuing the good work. Keep it up and maybe someone will send another letter to you in 60 years.
Sincerely yours,
Mike Duffy
